L-Imnarja: ein traditionelles Kaninchenfest

L-Imnarja, held at the end of June, is one of the oldest feasts in the Maltese calendar, and tradition ties it firmly to rabbit. We honour it with a full fenkata: spaghetti in rich rabbit sauce, followed by the rabbit itself, fried with garlic or stewed slowly in wine.
