As the warm July evening settles in, we lay a long table beneath the open sky for a feast of Gozitan classics. Begin with the Gozitan ftira, rustic sourdough crowned with potato, tomato, olives, and capers, then move on to homemade fish cakes and slow-roasted suckling pig.
Paired with crisp local wine and finished with imqaret, warm date pastries fried to order. Honest food, generous portions, and the easy company of a Gozitan summer night.
